I completed my pharmacy studies in Poland, where I was born. My mother tongue is Polish, but I can also communicate in English.
I hope that working as a pharmacist in Switzerland will not only open up new professional horizons, but also enable me to move up to a higher level in pharmaceutical care, which has always been my dream. At that time, I came across an advertisement on the Internet that piqued my interest. It was the Swiss HRmed language concept.
I applied for the language program for several reasons. Firstly, it offered me the opportunity to start my dream career in Switzerland. Secondly, it was important for me to learn German and the language concept provided the perfect environment to achieve this goal. The program aimed to improve my language skills from A1 to B2, which is essential for the recognition of the diploma.
The application process involves several stages, starting with an initial interview in Polish, followed by several online interviews in English. The whole process took place in a very friendly atmosphere, which made my decision to participate in the program much easier. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in this initiative and grow both professionally and linguistically.
I have been in Freiburg in Germany for four weeks now. Every day, from Monday to Friday, I attend language classes at the Alpadia School. Students from all over the world are taught at this school. There are people from Brazil, Italy and Ukraine in my group. After class, I spend time with the host family where I am staying. I visit the nearby towns and meet up with my new friends. It's a fascinating experience for me, both in terms of learning the language and discovering new places and people.
I really like the Lingua language concept at Swiss HRmed. It combines intensive learning with effective leisure activities in the company of great people. I recommend this experience for its effectiveness and the joy it brings. Living here and immersing yourself in the language makes it much easier to learn quickly.
I will stay in Germany until around June and then obtain a B2 diploma. Once I have reached this level, I plan to move to Switzerland. I plan to take a job in a pharmacy in Switzerland. I would like to start work as soon as possible after my arrival. I am excited at the prospect of working in such a beautiful country and am ready to take on the challenges of an international pharmaceutical environment.
I am overjoyed with all the help that Swiss HRmed has provided for me. They guided me through every step of the immigration process.
The collaboration was uncomplicated and transparent. Communication with Brigit is always honest, supportive and fair. She does what she says and is always willing to think along with you
Even after more than 6 years, almost every weekend feels like a mini-vacation! This is due to the many attractive (outdoor) activities you can do here and the beautiful surroundings. It never gets boring!
